Tavern Townhouse is praised for its superb location in the heart of Henley, right next to Gail's bakery, making early morning treats easily accessible. Guests often highlight the comfortable beds and the charming slipper baths available in some rooms; though some have noted the limited selection of toiletries provided. The rooms, generally considered fairly large, offer pleasant views, and thoughtful touches like milk and water in the fridge add to the experience, although a few guests have mentioned early morning noise from nearby businesses.

Acceptable Stay. With Issues

central locationstreet facingearly noise
The location made it easy to walk to nearby restaurants and shops.
Our room faced the street and it was very noisy. I was woken up early by market setup. Lorries reversed and metal objects clattered. It disrupted the night.

The location was good. It was in the town center.
The room faced the street. There was much noise early in the morning. Market vendors set up their stalls starting at 6:30 AM! This made sleeping impossible.

the decor showed great thoughtfulness from the owners, i noticed. facilities met my needs, and the layout worked well. nice touches included milk and water in the fridge.. even a teapot was there. the location proved very convenient for getting around.
the room faced the street, which became an issue. i slept with the windows open because it was a warm night. at 2.30am, i woke abruptly to metal sounds and lorries. the market setup caused noise until approximately 6am.

Excellent Townhouse Stay

great locationcomfortable bedslipper bath
Location is great and very close to Gail's bakery. It opens early. The bed felt very comfortable and I liked the slipper bath in my room. I brought my own bubble bath. Fortunately, the hotel only supplied a conditioner and a body lotion by the side of the bath.
I have no complaints. All was perfect.
